Meet Dr. Nelson P. Rivers

Dr. Nelson P. Rivers is President of Centennial Wealth Solutions, LLC, and CEO/President of Centennial Wealth Educators, LLC.
During his 30 years in the finance and insurance profession, Nelson has taught thousands of individuals and families how to find money they are unknowingly and unnecessarily losing, and redirecting those losses back into their savings and investments.
Nelson believes that no estate, or financial or tax plan, is complete without incorporating asset protection.
His ability to research and implement advanced financial strategies has benefitted his clients for decades.
Nelson teaches financial education courses at the University of Evansville, local businesses, churches and the Centennial Wealth Education Center. He has written numerous articles on financial issues and has taught financial education to thousands of people in the Tri-state area.
Nelson and his wife Joyse have three children and eight grandchildren. He did his undergraduate work at the University of California at Los Angeles and earned his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Southern California. In his leisure time, he enjoys reading, travel, photography and cooking with his family.

Meet Cheryl Daugherty
Cheryl joined Centennial Wealth Solutions as a partner in the company 3 years ago and recently took on the role of CEO. Her empathy and relationship focus, coupled with a strong work ethic and attention to detail are primary drivers in helping her clients successfully navigate today’s complex investment environment. As a fiduciary, her clients have come to trust her ability to provide solid feedback and guidance.
Cheryl focuses on all aspects of a client’s financial plan and serves as a financial partner that clients trust by ensuring that all recommendations are in the client’s best interest and fit into their overall plan. She helps clients navigate each life event and economic climate, no matter the simplicity or complexity.
Her motto is “Plan to Retire Once”.
Cheryl grew up in Evansville, Indiana where she and her husband Clayton currently live.
Cheryl is an animal lover and in her spare time she enjoys playing with her cats and dogs, spending time outdoors pretending to be a landscaper, and wishing she had more time to spend on a beach anywhere.
Cheryl’s professional licenses and registrations include: Series 65 with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Life and Health Insurance with the State of Indiana. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and an Associates of Arts in Computer Information Systems from the University of Southern Indiana.
Meet Michelle Berning
Michelle joined Centennial Wealth Solutions in October 2015 as the Office Manager.
In her role at Centennial Wealth, Michelle primarily works to establish and maintain client relationships and assist in the development of key processes in the company.
Michelle’s work history includes 19 ½ years as the Office Administrator/Customer Service Representative at Donan Engineering and formerly as an Account Representative for Essentra Packaging. She attended Ivy Tech for Interior Design.
Michelle lives in Evansville with her husband Ben and has one son. In Michelle’s spare time she enjoys reading, decorating her home, shopping, and working in her flower and herb gardens.
